Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks
The Region VI High School Championships will be held on the Jim Whisenhant Ski Trails at Birch Hill Recreation Area in Fairbanks on Friday and Saturday, February 11-12, 2005, beginning at 3:00pm Friday and 11:00am Saturday. The Friday events will be mass-start events in free technique, Saturday will have mixed relays.

Frequently Birch Hill is 10-15 Fahrenheit degrees warmer than the temperatures at the airport, and inversions of 25-30 Fahrenheit degrees are not unheard of. The conditions at the airport MAY OR MAY NOT resemble the conditions at Birch Hill.
