There are three events in the 2007-2008 Chest Medicine Fairbanks Distance Series:  The Gundeloppet 7.5Km/15Km free technique on December 9, the February Frolic10Km/20Km classic on January 22, and the February Frolic 15Km+15Km skiathlon on February 17.  All events will be held in mass-start format. 

Prizes for each race and for the whole series will be provided by Raven Cross Country, and awarded by random drawing.  You receive one chance in the drawing for each Distance Series Race you enter.  All races start at 11:00am.  For entries received early, entry fees are $10 for NSCF members and $15 for non-members.  Add $5 for race day entries.

Each race will offer two distances.  The December event will be a one-lap 7.5Km event and a two-lap 15Km event.  The January race will offer a one-lap 10km classic event and a two-lap, 20km classic.  The February race will offer a short race of 10km or 15km classic, and a long race of 15km classic + 15km free skiathlon, with equipment changeover at the midpoint of the race.  Points will be awarded in the season-long NSCF race series based upon results in the longer events.
