On this page you will find information pertaining to most Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks events for the coming season.  For any events not listed here, or for which there is no information, please check the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks website, or, if there is a contact number listed for the director of the race, call that number.  Click on the link above for Birch Hill weather and a view through the Birch Hill webcam.

Several Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks races offer reduced entry fees for club members. If you are not a member, click here to download a membership form. 

If you are a Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks member and you would like to enter all the Town Series Races, all the Distance Series races, the Sonot Kkaazoot, or any combination of those, download a comprehensive race entry form for the 2011-2012 season.  You can enter all eight races for $80, saving $15 over the regular price.

Also available is an NSCF competition schedule for 2011-2012.  This includes NSCF events and other Alaska and National events of interest to NSCF members.  This schedule is updated periodically with minor changes as necessary.  Please note that the techniques used in most of our NSCF competitions have changed from last year to this year.  Technique noted in Red Italic font.

We can only put on races thanks to the generosity of our race crew volunteers.  We have a great race crew, and spending part of a day as a member of our race crew can be lots of fun.  If you would like to volunteer to work at one of the races listed below, please e-mail our volunteer coordinator.

In addition to offering many racing opportunities for nominal entry fees, the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks pays for all grooming at Birch Hill through donations for trail users.   Be sure to donate to the trails fund so that we can continue to enjoy great tracks.
