There are three events in the 2011-12 Buetow Dental Distance Series:  The Gundeloppet 7.5Km/15Km classic technique on December 10, the January Jaunt 10Km/20Km free on January 7, and the Raven Run 15Km+15Km classic on February 19.  All events will be held in mass-start format. 

Prizes for each race and for the whole series will be provided by Raven Cross Country, and awarded by random drawing.  You receive one chance in the drawing for each Distance Series Race you enter.  All races start at 11:00am.  For entries received early, entry fees are $10 for NSCF members and $15 for non-members.  Add $5 for race day entries.

Each race will offer two distances.  The December event will be a one-lap 7.5Km classic technique event and a one-lap 15Km classic technique event.  The January race will offer a one-lap 10km free technique event and a two-lap, 20km free technique.  The February race will offer a short race of 10km or 15km in classic technique, and a long race of 30km in classic technique. 

If you are a Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks member and you would like to enter all the Town Series Races, all the Distance Series races, the Sonot Kkaazoot, or any combination of those, download a comprehensive race entry form for the 2011-12 season.  You can enter all eight races for $80, saving $15 over the regular price.
